Death of Boy with autism after treatment

The recently reported death of a 5-year-old autistic boy, whom his parents chose to treat in the United States, is extremely sad on two counts.
Firstly, because he died after being treated to alleviate a condition, the parents believing could help him, and even more saddening, that the parents had to spend time, effort and probably a lot of money by going to the United States in the first place to try to obtain help.
